The Education Asset Management System (TEAMS)
Through a cooperative effort with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PACUA), we offer this program to provide educational lending support to credit unions in Pennsylvania. By participating in this program, virtually any credit union in Pennsylvania can become and/or remain active in educational lending because we handle all administrative and regulatory concerns.
Currently over 180 credit unions participate in this program. Benefits of this program include:
- Clients can offer student loans to members without having to endure the burdens often associated with administering a student loan program and can verify credit union membership as part of the application process.
- We also offer full student/education loan servicing - from applying through processing the final payment for the debt - because we have the resources to provide quality customer service, to process written or emailed correspondence, and to maintain billing, collections, claim filing and full portfolio management.
- Clients retain ownership of the education loan portfolio.
- We provide clients with the option to regularly sell loans to meet liquidity means.
